Using the same wire to guy an antenna, and operate, is easier for the builder, but it's hard on the antenna - plus your mounting options are limited... When you incorporate an antenna mount/support into the design, such as the USA 2Way G5RV, the support holds the antenna in the air, relieving tension and strain on the wires.  Plus, once you mount the support it's easy to try out new antenna designs to see which works best for your location!  Try a straight dipole, Inverted Vee, Sloper, whatever you choose - without moving the mount - just the wires! Use a good quality support line (such as nylon rope) and finding your antenna laying on the ground some morning - is a thing of the past!                                  The USA 2Way Better G5RV!

For your convience, this antenna is terminated with 30 feet of certified 450 ohm Ladder Line. Coaxial jumper not provided. Operation is 80 thru 10 meters. Antenna tuner required.
